Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and determination to enhancing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) expert services through an engagement with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% of the registered pupils during the instruction sector.
These learners achieved a commendable pass rate of 86%.
